Based on a study that included 1,800 partners, end users, safety professionals, and IT professionals from around the world, the review is based on.
Ramesh Songukrishnasamy, SVP and CTO at HID, claimed that 73 % of security leaders now prioritize software-driven unified solutions, which goes against the grain of traditional siloed approaches.  ,
He claimed that organizations require systems that can be scaled to meet their needs while also providing meaningful intelligence.
Findings also indicate a significant shift away from traditional access methods, with 61 % of safety leaders citing their rapid growth as a major trend.  ,
Almost two-thirds of respondents are both deploying or planning to deploying mobile options. Demand for biometric technologies like fingerprints, iris, and facial recognition is also increasing, with 35 % of respondents saying they use biometric technology and 13 % intend to do so, which indicates there is a significant growth potential in this industry.
Additionally, many security leaders ( 67 % ) are switching to software-driven security solutions as organizations diversify their security technology, citing that combining multiple data collection methods would be” somewhat” or “very important” ( 73 % ) for their organization.
In addition, interoperability has grown in popularity in the security sector over the past few years as more than half of protection professionals have reported available solutions as being “extremely” or “very” essential to their organizations.
Additionally, 73 % of architects and advisors report a shift toward software-driven security solutions that converge on a more unified platform, bringing physical and digital features like access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection.
While 77 % of channel partners believe they are successfully adapting to these changes, growing end-user demand for AI, cloud, IoT integration, and advanced analytics is changing customer expectations.  ,
The channel had constantly evolve and adapt to meet the changing needs of the market and keep up with the security industry’s rapid modern transformation in order to thrive.
AI technology is being quickly adopted to increase security operations. Utilization cases are increasing across platforms for exposure control, identification management, video, and security management.  ,
The main advantages cited are increased security processes ‘ efficiency and speed ( 50 % ), as well as increased real-time data analysis capabilities ( 47 % ).
The study also noted that budget-allowing protection decision-making places a constant focus on conservation. Sustainability is still a crucial factor in protection decision-making, with 75 % of surveillance leaders then taking it into account when selecting solutions.  ,
Ecology is not the most important factor when choosing new solutions, though 80 % of integrators and consultants still prioritize safety and cost-effectiveness.
